Our Black Swan Shiraz-Merlot is a unique combination of Aussie favorites. The Shiraz provides dark berry flavors and hint of black pepper, while the Merlot adds sweet, ripe plum flavors and a soft, velvety mouth feel. Enjoy our Shiraz-Merlot with grilled meats and rich pastas.
Olivia's Notes:
I had trepidations when I read the bottle and it said "hint of black pepper", but upon indulging in a glass of the Shiraz-Merlot (at work and while remaining utterly on-point/classy as per usual), I was relieved to find that the "pepper" manifested itself in a warm spicy kick to an otherwise tart blueberry and plum flavor. The Shiraz and Merlot grapes play well with others, which is more than I can say for myself... which might be why I hijacked the bottle and left early.
