September is right around the corner. You know what that means? No not Labor Day silly, not exclusive enough. It’s White Party time—a long-standing, super-exclusive, celebrity-packed bash held each summer! I heard invites went out last month. Oh, really, I didn’t get mine either. Let’s take matters into our own hands; it’s White Party time for the people! Dress up your backyard for a super fabulous, homespun, pseudo-Hampton’s affair. Here are a few simple ideas to host your very own star-studded event.

1. Get your invitations in the mail ASAP! For authenticity let’s go snail mail. It’s tres chic. Get creative with your old-fashioned paper card invitations. Add white or silver glitter for that extra pizzazz. Remember that writing technique they taught us in 3rd grade? It was called cursive. Use it.
2. Require all white attire in order to attend. White linen, white eyelet sundresses, or this season's white jeans are all perfect for the party. Urge wide brimmed hats.
3. Choose your crudité carefully—remember, everyone will be wearing white, so spaghetti is definitely not on the menu.
4. Securing a star-studded guest list is easier than you think. Especially if you've got cardboard cut-out masks in their likeness!.
5. And finally the perfect White Wine Spritzer. FYI Spritzers are probably the simplest, but most delectable and refreshing cocktails on the planet!
The Perfect Spritzer Recipe:
-3 parts Black Swan Chardonnay
-1 part club soda
-a bit of crushed ice
-garnish with a lemon twist
Variations: add a ¼ ounce raspberry liqeur and garnish with a strawberry.
